Our Reading Room is a wonderful, custom designed space for pupils to come and immerse themselves in a range of books. The room is decorated with scenes from some of our well-loved children’s books and is furnished with comfortable sofas and cushions so the children can curl up with a good book.

The shelves are well-stocked and our library lending scheme allows children to bring a book of their choice home as well as enjoying their weekly class visit. 

Our Year 5 pupil librarians assist with the organisation of our reading spaces and were selected after successfully applying for and interviewing for the positions. Additional visits to our Reading Room are enjoyed each week by the classes with the most children reading 4 or more times each week.
