Year Six SATs mindfulness group

This Group aims to provide additional, targeted support to children who lack confidence, or who would benefit from small group discussions about academic subjects combined with mindfulness practices. The group meets once a week and children are able to request which academic subject is looked at. The session is ended with a discussion, in order that any worries they have, can be turned around to a positive outcome. This is also combined with mindful strategies, such as ‘being in the moment’ and mindful breathing exercises.
